Want your shopping bag to be full, but your wallet is empty? Here are some money saving ideas.!

Lets know the difference:

What is a brand?

A branded outfit will make you look better and feel better. Finishing plays a major role here. They are made by the concept of International stitching measurements.  Long lasting fabrics/materials  and overall it’s genuine.

What irritates you?

You have to pay more, just for the “Brand Name”. Some clothes which are sold in the name of brand name are not the real one which doesn’t undergo all the testing methods of fabrics. Some products are just bought from the street side and labelled like a brand. But you can’t find it easily until you are an expert. Some unique designs and silhouette (pattern) of designer clothes can be easily copied by the industries and well trained tailors. Here you loss the uniqueness.

What is Non-Brand?

A pocket friendly product. It is super fine if you find a cloth that has smooth and perfect finishing. It is otherwise called as cloth market.

Downside of Non-Branded products:

We can’t give assurance to the life period of non-branded clothes. However if you’re not using a cloth for more than one or two years then its fine prefer non-branded products. However these materials are not advisable for skin hugging clothes. You have to make an over stitch on the previous one to make it sustainable for some more period of time. Fitting looks quite noisy due to its improper alignment, sew, weird sleeve and dart placement. You should never trust the colour at the time of buying a cloth. But nowadays as they become cheaper, it holds high percentage of trust. Printed designs may vanish at times.

Confused which is better? Here is the solution

  • Tops and Tee can be a non-branded one which will never harm you.
  • Prefer branded Jeans, denim tops as they are skin hugging.
  • Never compromise on your inner garments and sportswear. Go with a brand.
  • Night wear, knee pant and casual shirts can be a non brand.
  • Party wear and club wear are preferred to be a brand as it fits on your body perfectly.

It's a non-brand cloth which I bought. People never believed as I bought it in a bazaar shop when I wore it. Because the colour and fit never changed until now after washing. And I bought that shrug for just Rs.450. I bet you will never get this quality even if you buy it online. I wish you could find something like this.

Sonam Kapoor wears Missoni to 'Khoobsurat' which looks dull and simple. And I guess you can never say its a brand for which she might have spent more dollars.

Where to buy?

Non-Brand:

  • Sarojini in Delhi.
  • Shivaji Nagar, Jayanagar, Commercial Street, Oklipuram and Chickpet in Bangalore.
  • Tulsi Bazaar in Pune.
  • Charminar bazaar and Koti sultan bazar in Hyderabad. Linking Road & Hill road in Bandra.
  • T-Nagar and Pondy Bazar in Chennai.
  Brand:
  • Shopping Malls.
  • Designer Boutique Shops.
  • Online Shopping Platforms.
So I am not coming to say which is best. Its like a debate where both the sides has its own snag and strength. You can get a replica of designer clothes on a street shopping bazaar and sometimes a poor quality of products in a brand name. Its about their making process and your skill of identifying it.

Happy Shopping..!
