Pre-Diwali celebration started to the people of Chennai and to the worldwide fans of Superstar Rajinikanth because today is the stunning event of the official launch of the theatrical trailer of the much-awaited magnum opus 2.0 at Sathyam Cinemas.
It is a science fiction thriller which is expected to take the Indian cinema to the international standards. A wave of hypes has been created long back before four years when this magnificent project was announced by the legendary director Shankar.
Cast and Crew of 2.0:
Well, whoever the crew is, end of the day it is branded as Superstar Rajinikanth’s movie. But this project involves a lot of interesting worldwide expertise which we should know. Here we happen to see the Enthiran fame Vaseegaran and Chitti, the robot. It is not the sequel still involves the essence of Enthiran. The main antagonist role is played by Bollywood superhero Akshay Kumar, and his look in the film is definitely terrific.
Lyca productions Subhashakaran is the main driving force of the film, without whom the project would have remained a dream itself. He has generously spent around 600 crores to create this magic. A.R.Rahman, Oscar awardee, has scored the music for the movie, which is believed to be another hero of the film. Emy Jackson plays the female lead.
Nirav Shah is the cinematographer, Resul Pookuty is the sound designer, editing is done by Antony, the art direction is by Muthuraj. VFX works are the core of this 3D entertainer, which glues the audience at the edge of the seat. Hollywood technicians have been roped in to create the real-time experience.
Interesting inputs in the trailer
The official trailer has been released today in all three versions of Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. Soon it received the highest number of views on Youtube and has set a record. The crew released the teaser on 13 September and by screening it in theatres offered their audience a 3D effect, received a great applause. Same way, they created a 4D experience for the trailer launch by placing a special speaker beneath every seat of the theatre.
The trailer had a lot of surprise elements like evil bird look of Akshay, giant Chitti and not to miss is a couple of seconds at the end of the trailer where Vaseegaran changes into the terrific bird man Akshay in a flip. From the day Rajinikanth announced his political entry, his every single word is keenly watched by the entire media and political fraternities. So he is expected to throw some info on his political journey in every event he takes part. But Rajini is very clear in not using the film promotions for his political avatar.
But he did not disappoint either and delivered a sarcastic statement in his own style. In his words “ 2.0 movie has come out very well and surely it will satisfy all audience, media, intellectuals, and even pseudo-intellectuals. The release of the film may be a bit late, because when something is delayed, it should arrive correctly and once arrived should hit for sure. We have faith in the audience, every work is completed and the only thing left out is to release...I meant the movie”
This hidden comment about his political arrival has answered much criticism revolving around him in the media. It shows the clarity he has in his political path and proved that he is counting every step towards the purpose of his political entry. The theatre was filled with cries of joy and applause. Same way the the trailer too received a humongous response among the fans and audience. November 29th is going to be the real Diwali for his fans as the much-awaited pride of the Indian cinema is slated to release on that day.
