Why 2.0 is strictly to be watched in theatres

The wait for more than four years is going to end on 29th November 2018, as Shankar, scientist more than a director’s magnum opus 2.0 starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Super actor Akshay Kumar is all ready to set the screens on fire. This is not the first time a movie is being celebrated as it is a common happening, especially for Rajini movies. But what is so special about 2.0 to create such a huge hype worldwide.

3d projection:
3d movies are not new to Indian cinema. We have witnessed a lot of 3d movies earlier too but those movies were earlier shot in 2d format and then converted into 3d. What makes the 3d projection of 2.0 special is that the entire movie is shot in 3d cameras using V-Cam technology which is the best in 3d camera. Around 2150 shots involving CG works are ready to keep the viewers awestruck.

4d srl sound technology:
Usually, the speakers will be set in sideways or even above the audience to create a real-time experience. But in 4d srl technology speakers will be placed beneath the seats of the audience so that it creates an illusion of us being present in the location of the scene along with the characters. Many theatres of India has upgraded their screens to provide this magic to their viewers.

Animatronics:
Animatronics is the integration of Anatomy and mechatronics which is the technology used in most of the action sequences, especially in sci-fi thrillers. In this technology, cables are used to pull and move the inanimate objects so that when converted into 3d it makes us visualize as if the inanimate objects came to life. This is a must for a robotic movie like 2.0.

Lidar scanning:
In any movie, a major portion of the budget goes for creating the set. In a 3d movie, it is essential to check for the measurements accurately. In Lidar scanning, laser pulses are generated to do this work more appropriately. 2.0 has roped in a heavy budget of around 600 crores and Lidar scanning is a must for the required clarity.

Pan world expertise:
Around 20 + studios from worldwide are used in the CG works of 2.0. VFX technicians and action choreographers are pulled in the movie who have worked in blockbusters like Avatar, Marvel, Life of Pi etc. More than 3000 technicians have worked hard for the past 4 years to bring the vision of director Shankar into a visual reality.

These are the special inputs of 2.0 which really makes it the pride of Indian cinema. Already countrywide theatre owners have upgraded their screens to satisfy their audience. 2.0 had opened a new chapter in the history of Indian cinema. With pre-release sales and distribution, 2.0 had started setting records and is sure to place new benchmarks for the future projects. Now it is time to set the screens on fire. Be prepared for Chitti.
